Before, during and after the call

Interview transcription software
that files the notes for you

You run the interview the way you always have. Jarvi records it, writes it up and puts it where your team will look for it.

Before the call

You start the recording in one click

Your interview opens in the browser as usual. You click the Jarvi icon, check that the right candidate is selected and press Start recording.

During and right after

You stay with the candidate, the notes file themselves

You can close the small Jarvi window and keep your eyes on the person in front of you. Once you stop the recording, it lands in the Interactions of the candidate record, and the summary usually follows a few minutes later.

Before your next call

The client debrief is ready while the interview is still fresh

The Interview summary template turns those notes into a clean document with the candidate’s details. You read it, adjust a line if you want, then download it or share it with your client.

Months later, when a new role opens, you can filter your database on the candidates you have recorded and read what they actually told you.

Recruiting ATS

One summary per kind of call

An automatic interview summary
shaped for each conversation

A candidate interview and a client meeting do not need the same notes, so Jarvi writes each one in its own structure.

With Anna Kovac, for the Senior Accountant role

  1. 1General information
  2. 2Last position and current package
  3. 3Desired next move, notice and mobility
  4. 4Introduction
  5. 5Motivation for the role
  6. 6A few key quotes
  7. 7Conclusion on skills and personality

When something did not come up, such as other processes, the summary says it was not discussed.

Jarvi picks the template on its own from the conversation and the record, and you can switch to another one and regenerate the summary without redoing the call.

Recording without a bot

An AI meeting assistant your candidates never see

The interview looks exactly the same to the candidate, which keeps the conversation natural.

Nothing joins the meeting

Jarvi records the sound of your browser tab together with your microphone. The candidate sees you and nobody else, and you never have to ask a client to let a bot in.

You stay the one asking for consent

Right under the Start recording button, the extension asks you to confirm that everyone in the call has agreed. You mention it at the start of the call, as you would for any recorded conversation.

The recording is kept in your Jarvi

The audio, the transcript and the summary sit with the rest of your candidate data, and you can delete a recording whenever you need to.

Where it works

Phone screens, video interviews
and meetings in person

Recruiters talk to people in many ways during a week, and most of those conversations can be recorded in Jarvi.

Video

Video interviews in your browser

Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Whereby are recorded through the Jarvi extension when the meeting is open in a browser tab rather than in the desktop app.

Phone

Phone screens on speaker

Put your phone on speaker and record from Jarvi on your computer, so both voices are captured.

In person

Face to face, from your phone

A coffee or a site visit can be recorded with Jarvi on your phone, and the summary lands on the same record.

Calls from a browser phone system

When your phone system runs in a browser tab, such as Aircall, Ringover, Dialpad or CloudTalk, the call is recorded like a video meeting.

A recording made elsewhere

You can also upload an audio file to an interaction, and Jarvi writes the summary from it.

Notes in the language you choose

The transcript keeps the language that was spoken, and the summary can be written in the language your client reads.

See it on a real call

See the summary of a real interview before you decide anything

In 30 minutes, we show you the recording, the summary on a candidate record and the debrief document your client would receive. You can also bring the interview format you already use and see it become a summary template.

Context, not just audio

AI interview notes that know which job you were discussing

Jarvi reads the job, the client and the candidate record before it writes, so the role and the names come out right. The job is there as background, not as a scorecard, so the notes stay on what the candidate actually told you.

Jarvi simplifies my sourcing and saves me precious time by automating repetitive tasks. Since I started using it, my recruiting approach has become more efficient and streamlined! This allows me to focus on what’s essential: human interaction and the quality of the candidate experience.

AI notetaker for recruiters FAQ

What is an AI notetaker for recruiters?

It records your interviews and client calls, transcribes them and writes a structured summary for you. In Jarvi, the summary is written with the job as background and lands on the candidate or contact record, so you do not have to copy it anywhere.

How is Jarvi different from a generic AI notetaker?

A generic AI notetaker transcribes the call, often joins it as an extra participant, and leaves you to copy the notes into your ATS. Jarvi records from your browser without a bot, writes candidate and client calls in different shapes with the job on the project as background, files the notes on the record and can turn them into an Interview summary document for your client.

Does a bot join my interviews?

No. Jarvi records the sound of the browser tab your meeting runs in, together with your microphone. Nobody new appears in the participant list, so there is no bot for the candidate or the client to admit.

Which meeting tools does it work with?

Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Whereby, when the meeting is open in your browser with the Jarvi extension installed. The desktop apps are not recorded, so if you usually join from one, open the same meeting link in the browser and record from there.

Can it record a phone screen or a face-to-face interview?

Yes. For a phone call, put your phone on speaker and record from Jarvi on your computer so both voices are picked up. With a headset, only your side is recorded. For a meeting in person, you can record from Jarvi on your phone, or upload an audio file afterwards.

Do I need the candidate’s consent?

Yes, and it stays your responsibility. Since no bot joins the call, Jarvi does not announce the recording to the other participants. When you start a video call recording, the extension asks you to confirm that everyone has agreed, and a short sentence at the start of the call is usually all it takes.

Can the AI make things up?

It is instructed to summarise only what was said and to use the job and the record as background. With the built-in templates, when a topic did not come up, the summary says it was not discussed. Names and figures can still be misheard, so the full transcript stays next to the summary and you can edit the summary before sharing it.

How do we switch it on, and who sees the recordings?

Recording and AI note-taking is an option you switch on once in the advanced features of your Jarvi settings, and the Jarvi browser extension handles video calls. Recordings are visible to your team like the rest of the candidate history, you remain the data controller, and you can delete a recording whenever you need to.
