This guide walks you through getting started with Jarvi, from installing the extension to sending your first message.
Install the Jarvi extension
- Install the Jarvi extension from the Chrome Web Store.
- Once installed, the Jarvi icon appears in your Chrome extensions bar.
- Log in with your Jarvi credentials.
The Jarvi extension works on Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, etc.).
Import profiles and companies from LinkedIn
With the extension, you can import directly from LinkedIn:
- Individual profiles: when viewing a LinkedIn profile, click on the Jarvi extension to add them to your talent pool.
- Companies: import company pages for prospecting or to link them to your candidates.
- Your LinkedIn network: import all your connections to centralize them in Jarvi.
Explore the Jarvi interface
Once logged into Jarvi, you’ll find:
- The dashboard: an overview of your daily activity (reminders, messages to send, ongoing tasks).
- The navigation menu with two main sections:
- ATS (Applicant Tracking System): to manage your recruitment projects and candidates.
- CRM (Customer Relationship Management): to manage your business contacts and prospecting.
Connect your email address
To sync your email exchanges with Jarvi:
- Go to Jarvi’s Settings.
- Connect your email address (Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
- Jarvi automatically syncs emails sent and received with your profiles.
To configure your signature, send an email containing only your signature to support+signature@jarvi.tech. It will be automatically appended to every email sent from Jarvi.
Candidate profile and sending messages
Each profile has a complete profile page with:
- Personal and professional information
- Full interaction history (emails, LinkedIn, calls, notes…)
- Associated recruitment projects
From this page, you can send a message directly via email, LinkedIn, InMail, WhatsApp or SMS, without leaving Jarvi.
Understanding statuses
Jarvi automatically manages your candidate statuses:
- Automatic: Jarvi detects interactions and updates the status (contacted, followed up, replied…).
- In process: the candidate is actively being tracked in a recruitment process.
- Archived: the candidate is no longer active on this project.
To change a candidate’s status, simply click on the current status and select the new one.
